Chemical Injection Skid
VLV carries out the design and the complete supply of Chemical Injection Skid for Oil & Gas and Petrolchimical equipments. Each product is always designed according to the specific needs of the customer.
In the VLV portfolio, the Injection Skid is one of the main products.
The injection skids are used to inject chemicals inside pipelines under pressure.
They are generally employed in the treatment of gas, crude oil and water, to inject chemicals such as glycol to inhibit hydrates or to dehydrate gas, antifoam, antacids, antiscaling, biocides etc..
Skids are engineered to inject substances into the main fluid stream that can be at a pressure ranging from a few bars up to 350 barg.
This units are normally constituted by the following:
Positive displacement dosing pump, as per API 675, with adjustable flow, installed with the sparing philosophy as per customer request
Pressure control loop downstream the pump, to adjust the injection pressure, avoid overpressure, and to allow the close loop pumping for calibration purpose
Calibration circuit, constituted by a calibration pot (typically in Pyrex glass) and the necessary valves to allow the calibration of the spare pump while the working pump is in operation
Chemical storage tank
